I don't think they deliver. Never seen any grub hub or Uber eats stuff
On the patio out front
Only if she is "old-fashioned" and likes excellent small town diners.
This was the best breakfast place I’ve ever had. A number of delicious, unique meals and drinks, but by far the best was the B.W. Bunny. Normally, I don’t like eggs, but this place changed that for me. Absolutely delicious, and made to perfection. To drink, I had it with a horchata cold brew which was also tasty and unique. 100% will come back here every time I go to San Diego, and would recommend to anyone.
Grat breakfast spot, doing the best they can with Covid19. Amazing selection, great service. The oatmeal pancakes (pictured) are hearty and very satisfying. I think they can be shared, i couldn't finish them. Very friendly staff and a local feel.
Great food. Great service. Food was slow.
Great neighborhood institution. The service and food were great. A definite breakfast spot to visit if you're in La Jolla
Wonderful breakfast place. Can be quite crowded, but not as bad as some other breakfast spots along the coast. The B.W. Benny was so rich and delicious. But the real winner is the California breakfast burrito. I can't overstate how good this burrito is. Also their house coffee is amazing and they give you a carafe - classic style - to have at your table. Also huge plus for being dog friendly and the service is excellent. Great place overall, real props to a well done family-owned restaurant.
I simply love this place. Been coming here for over 20 years, and have not had a bad experience once. Everything is always fresh. Shelly, one of the best, most knowledgeable waitress, is amazing. When you go to visit, ask for Shelly, and tell her Marc sent you or you saw my review. All the rest of the staff is also amazing. BOTTOM LINE, If you have not been here, You need to visit....
This place is close to being theft. The food is atrocious in almost every imaginable way, and crazily overpriced.I had the fried steak and eggs. The eggs were so underdone that the whites were still liquid. The potatoes were also extremely under-done. The steak was unseasoned and bland, and felt/looked like it may have been something frozen that they heated up. The coffee was not good.My girlfriend had the Benny waffle. They served a fake Hollandaise sauce, fake butter, and fake syrup (you can pay $3 for real syrup... really?).The service was fine.
My favorite restaurant in the world. Classic Diner. Perfect Hash browns, delicious shakes. What else do you want? Great Atmosphere, never rushed out, quick service. Will return here again and again.
Their tuna melts legit one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life! Plated quick and ate just as quick. Ashley was really nice. Def coming here every time I have my car worked on at La Family auto!! 💯
Pure authentic coffee shop, the oldest famous one in this area, if you are a die hard fan of Starbucks, don't ever visit here because one you tasted the coffee here believe me, you will never ever visit any other coffee shop.kudos to owner for maintaining the excellence.
Super fantastico! Breakfast portions are sinfully insane! The iced coffee salmon omelette and huevos rancheros are crazy good! Thank you Harry's staff for being amazing!
Typical Americana diner experience. I've been here several times and the omelettes never disappoint. It's in downtown La Jolla, so it's a tad pricier than a typical diner, but you get a lot of food. Between the omelette, hash browns, and pancake, I either save half or skip lunch and go straight to dinner.
Decent breakfast place. I wouldn't say it was a wow but fulfilling enough.
One of the must-go breakfast places when you're in La Jolla. For 2 of us, one order of Waffle, eggs plate, Pancake with coffees are good to share.
Had to wait in line, usually a good sign. Simple menu easy to read a plus. The coffee was good! I had the carne asada breakfast burrito, it looked very good when it made it out in a short time of ordering it. It had good flavor but something just did not sit right with me. The burrito was too greasy, the tortilla became transparent, and the carne asada seem to have been boiled. The salsa was hot and delicious along with the flavor filled guacamole. Overall its worth the time you wait in line, friendly staff, and its easy on the wallet.
Harry's, a La Jolla icon... 4.5. Food is good, fast, and mmm wide menu. Get the orange juice... best around. Coffee, great. Have enjoyed Harry's for years. They are reliable, and well worth a return trip. From simple over easy, to full Benedict, they know eggs. Counter seating, booths, even outside (bring the dog), they have loads of seating. But, they do get crowded, so go early, or well late (sleep in, you deserve it).Parking in back.
This classic location at the heart of La Jolla is a great spot for a casual meal. The line moves extremely fast to get in, and the smell inside is amazing. The menu had so many good choices it is hard to pick just one, including a good variety of milkshakes. Would come back to try something different next time.
A great place for a classic US diner style breakfast or lunch. The food is always solid diner food and the staff are always excellent and so friendly. Visited by locals and tourists alike, the ambience is really created by the great staff who ensure a friendly family vibe on every visit.
Great little place in La Jolla. People and food are Wonderful.
Horchata cold brew and eggs benedict were PHENOMENAL ! Service was amazing as well. If I lived here, I would visit this place all the time!
The food here was delicious. The diner has been around for decades and has kept its original feel and decor. The mocha had Mexican cocoa and was both creamy and filling. The smoked salmon omelette was hot and fresh. The seating and service was a tad slow, possibly due to some large parties that were there. Our waitress was apologetic about it and was very sweet.
Got the breakfast burrito and a cinnamon roll. Burrito was very tasty, hearty and an enormous portion side for the money. The Cinnamon roll was delectable. Softly baked and just the right amount of icing, not too rich and sweet. Definitely would come back on a future travel to San Diego!!!
This was actually the best meal we had our entire trip to San Diego. The staff were great, food was awesome and we sat outside.Parking is out back (pull around the block to find it). Will make this a regular spot for every trip to La Jolla.
A very laid back, family friendly place. The food is cooked well and the service is fantastic. By the amount of people that visit there on a daily basis, you can tell this place is a neighborhood favorite.
Best breakfast I have ever eaten. Service waa phenomenal.
Fantastic breakfast!!! Plus, Ruben sandwiches ...
I give Harry's a 4.5. The food was excellent, but the service was a little slow. There are great menu options. I recommend, but only if you have a few extra minutes.
La Jolla institution. A great example of the American greasy spoon diner.
The BEST diner outside of NYC; this place is a true San Diego landmark, bacon infused pancakes are better than almost anything you can get anywhere for breakfast!
Excellent coffee shop. Despite the name, they also specialize in breakfast foods. This place has become a weekend tradition to eat at for my family. There's also an adorable house cat that occasionally lingers around the back entrance. Good times.
Excellent breakfast menu, good for any mood. Great staff and service. The Mediterranean Omelet was excellent with corn tortillas and homemade salsa.
The food here is awesome. Old school diner with really good service. I'll be back.
Everything in the menu is delicious! The coffee is great. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is family-friendly.
You can never go wrong when you go to Harry's.
The thing about Harry's is that, even when they are jam-packed with customers, they still have an insane turnaround on food. I recently came in and received my food in about 5 minutes after ordering, and every seat was full in the house. They have really good food, a basic diner set up with a few quirky twists. Highly recommend this spot. Parking can be tricky sometimes, but not terrible do to their decent sized lot in the back for patrons. I recommend any of the omelettes and their shakes. The basic egg breakfasts are great too. Amazing hashbrowns.
I can't say enough good things about this place!! They are a locally owned restaurant that has been around for ages. Always great food, friendly service, and plenty of parking behind the restaurant. Their milkshakes are some of my favorite, there's an oldie field to the place that can't be found anywhere else. Menu is varied and their fruit is ALWAYS the freshest around and in season. Our last visit we had their carne asada tacos and omelette as our main course. Portions were more than generous and food was the perfect temperature. The warm blueberry bread with butter, fresh blueberries, and whipped cream was heavenly. The waitresses are always smiling, always accommodating, and quick! Never have to wait for drink refills. One of my favorite places to grab breakfast or lunch whenever I'm in the area.
This place is amazing. The waffles are not thick but just right. The waffle with a sliver of ham, poached eggs slathered with hollandaise sauce is sublime. Highly recommend!
Great NY style diner with a great selection for breakfast and lunch. Food was really good and service was friendly and quick. Real diner coffee (not posh, over roasted, full of syrup) in a real mug that has a handle I can put more then one finger in!
I had a great experience at Harry’s. The service was super friendly and the menu had a lot of great choices. I had the Greek omelet and it was delicious. The hash browns were crispy, the toast was great, and the food wasn’t over salted or sauced. I love that they serve your own coffee pot so you can keep it going when you like. The cinnamon bun was great, live a little and let them add melted butter on top.
This place came highly recommended, but was a real disappointment to us. I got the BW Benny, and on face value this looks like it is going to be amazing. However, it just did not have much flavor. Not seasoned well at all, and seemed a little old. My wife got the chicken salad sandwich and, at first, part of it was missing the chicken salad. We asked to have that fixed, and they did, but the chicken salad was a very unpleasant warm temperature, not what you expect of chicken salad. The staff was great. Very pleasant and offered lots of help with our four kids. You could tell they liked having families there.
Everything very good, good prices too. Bacon pancakes are great! Coffee is a bit strong tho
Amazing food and coffee. My group had just the drip coffee and it was one of the best cups I've ever had. Food was magnificent, th pancakes, the eggs, the bacon, the everything was amazing.
Cozy diner with friendly service and tasty food. The carne asada breakfast burrito was tasty and very filling. Kids portion was more than enough. We went around 7 and it was quiet and peaceful but you can tell it gets busy later in the morning.
Delicious food and a fantastic wait staff. My egg whites with spinach were excellent and my husband highly recommends the eggs Benedict. The raisin toast is delicious and they have delicious fresh made blueberry jam or strawberry jam to spread on it. What a great pleasure it is to eat there. You should give eating here a try if possible. You'll be glad you did.
Loved everything about this place! Friendly staff and delicious food! The waffle plates were an awesome spin on comfort favorites!
The food was pretty good minus waffle being a little over cooked. But the fresh apple juice was really good. I would eat here again.
Pleasantly surprised perfect atmosphere food drinks & service. Highly recommend the strawberry banana Oreo French toast and Mexi burger with hash brown
My all time favorite place for lunch. Food is amazing, cakes are incredible, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are so friendly. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!
Local favorite where people enjoy the traditional American breakfast items and Mexican-influenced dishes.
